Our products are computer produced entirely on a Macintosh platform.
We are 100% compatible with the following programs:
- In Design CS or lower
- QuarkXpress 6.5 or lower
(All postscript fonts and graphics must be included. If the source document was created on a PC using True Type Fonts we will attempt to
substitute the font with a similar Postscript when available.) - Adobe Photoshop CS or lower
- Adobe Illustrator CS or lower (All fonts must be outlined and all graphics embedded.)
- Adobe Acrobat Ver. 6.0 or lower
- Other acceptable file formats are TIFF, EPS, JPEG & PDF.
- Our word processor of choice is Microsoft Word.
- We can accept digital material on CD or DVD.
If we are required to download material from a customers ftp or internet site the following criteria MUST be met: A proper address with all applicable passwords. A specific file name must be provided. If a file name isn’t available we will not attempt to retrieve it. We will also need to know the type of file we are retrieving: art, (logos, line art etc), picture files, or application documents. We also need to know the date in which the file was put on to the site or sent. If we are looking up an item on an internet site, all folder and sub folder information must be included.
In addition to accepting material on CD or DVD, ftp transmission and e-mail attachments are also available. Files may be emailed, providing the combined file size is under 3MB.
FTP may also be used. Please email us for ftp account information to upload files.
Before sending files on the ftp site, please compress the material using self extracting software such as stuffit (sea), or zip.
Note: Please make arrangements in advance through your ad rep. before sending any ftp or e-mail material
